Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 August / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Ilgar Nabiyev, an Azerbaijani footballer, signed a contract with Arjiyazspor club of the Turkish first league, a source close to the footballer told Trend on 21 August.
Earlier Nabiyev played for Kayserispor team of the Turkish Super League. Arjiyazspor club represents Kayseri city, as Kayserispor. The Azerbaijani halfback inked one and a half-year contract with the Turkish club. In accordance with the contract's terms, Nabiyev can leave the club at the end of 2008, if he gets offer from any other club.
Nabiyev is not an only Azerbaijani footballer playing in the Turkish first league. Ilgar Gurbanov, a member of the Azerbaijani National Football team, plays for Boluspor club in the Turkish first league.
