Citizens of Uzbekistan and Pakistan accused of selling drugs charged in Azerbaijan

Upon the decision of the Court on Heinous Crimes, the citizen of Pakistan Hamidullah Bahbadshah, citizens of Uzbekistan Manzura Sayfilloyeva and Mayuba Khamarayeva were sentenced to 11 years imprisonment.

Sentence was made in Azerbaijan to the citizens of Uzbekistan and Pakistan, accused of selling drugs. Upon the decision of the Court on Heinous Crimes, on Dec. 17 the citizen of Pakistan Hamidullah Bahbadshah, citizens of Uzbekistan Manzura Sayfilloyeva and Mayuba Khamarayeva were sentenced to 11 years imprisonment.

These persons were arrested on June 19 by the employees of the State Customs Committee. Two kilograms of heroin were discovered and withdrawn from them.  

The accused are charged under articles 206.3.2 (smuggling by a group of persons through prior agreement) and 234.4.1, 234.4.3 (manufacture, acquisition, maintenance, transfer, transport or sale of precursors for the illegal manufacture and processing of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances by a group of persons through prior agreement or an organized group in large volume) of the Criminal Code.
