Science Development Fund under the Azerbaijani President has announced a grant competition of scientific projects.
"The Fund has allocated 6.1 million manat to fund research programs, projects and other scientific measures," the Fund head Elkin Babayev told the journalists today.
He said 2.2 million manat from the allocated funds will be spent to basic and applied research, 3 million - to the pilot projects, 400,000 - for special projects, 100,000 - to research and innovative projects.
Some 400,000 manat will be allocated for the study of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
Science Development Fund has decided to conduct such competitions twice a year - May 10 and November 10.
