Azerbaijani gymnast Anna Gurbanova won an international tournament in Croatia last week.
The Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation told Trend that she was the absolute winner of the tournament.
"I performed well and the coach was pleased with my performance in all four exercises," Gurbanova said. "The competition year is coming to an end and I think the last tournament for me will not be the fourth round of the club championships in Italy, but rather the Gorenkova Memorial Games in Omsk next weekend."
Fellow Azerbaijani gymnast Alia Garayeva will perform in the final round of the club championships in Italy on Dec. 4. Meanwhile, Samira Mustafayeva will visit Slovenia for an international tournament during this same period.
