Azrebaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Alizade / The Deputy Minister of Education of Azerbaijan, Elmar Gasimov, said on 11 August in Baku that that by 2015 nearly 5.000 Azerbaijani students will be sent to foreign universities.
The Deputy Minister said that all expenses of the students will be covered by the State. In addition, those who have diplomas from foreign universities will be hired by the State bodies of Azerbaijan. Gasimov assesses it as demands for the specialized staffs due to high economic development of the Country.
According to him, mainly the students will be sent to the leading universities of the USA, Great Britain, France, Japan, Malaysia and German. Currently more than 3.000 Azerbaijani students study at foreign universities. Of them, 1000 students study in Turkey, Romania and Egypt in line with State. The remaining students get education abroad at their own expense. Several of them, gained an opportunity to participate in various projects. Basically they study in Germany, Great Britain, France and other countries.
