New "Winchemical" joint venture for the production of polyethylene wallpaper was commissioned at Ferganaazot joint-stock company together with South Korean company Winhousing International, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzkimyosanoat.
Winhousing International accounts for 51 percent, while Ferghanaazot JSC has a 49 percent share. The plant capacity is 7.8 million units per year.
The authorized capital of joint venture is $150,000. The project with a total cost of $3.1 million was implemented in accordance with the Decree of Uzbek President in October 25, 2018 “On Measures to Accelerate the Development of the Chemical Industry of Uzbekistan”.
The Uzbek delegation visited a seminar in South Korea on the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan with participation of large South Korean pharmaceutical companies.
During the stay of Uzbek delegation in South Korea, negotiations were held with leaders and representatives of a number of ministries and departments, such as Korean Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (KPBMA), Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Korean Health Care Development Institute (KHIDI), and South Korean pharmaceutical companies.
