The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia reached $1.3 billion from January through June 2021, which is by 3.7 percent more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
Azerbaijan’s export volume to the Russian Federation reached $418.5 million (increase of 10 times) while import volume from Russia - $923.9 million (increase of 1.1 percent) during the reporting period.
Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth $403.8 million to Russia from January through June 2021.
According to the State Customs Committee, the share of export of non-oil products to Russia amounted to 34.7 percent of Azerbaijan’s total export volume of these products.
The foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia reached $2.7 billion in 2020, which is by 11.16 percent less than in 2019. The balance in export-import operations was negative and amounted to $505.5 million.
