Azerbaijan will increase export of fruits in the near future, director of the Center for Agrarian Research under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Firdovsi Fikratzade told Trend.
According to Fikratzade, fundamental changes have been made in the mechanisms of state support for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan.
"One of the priority directions of state support is the creation of intensive orchards. This has become an incentive for our farmers. New orchards are already being created, which in turn will ensure an increase in fruit exports from Azerbaijan in the near future," he said.
