Azerbaijan’s PaySis talks about achievements in 2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 15

The services in more than 3,000 shops, restaurants and other outlets in Azerbaijan can be paid through the mobile application of the E-PUL payment system since 2021, CEO of the Azerbaijani PaySis company (the legal owner of the E-PUL payment system) Samir Nasibov told Trend.

Nasibov added that last year was quite interesting in terms of project implementation.

“We launched remote user authentication service through a mobile application, as well as implemented the VAT Refund service in our mobile application in 2021,” the CEO of PaySis company said.

Nasibov also said that in accordance with Bank Respublika’s strategic goals for the development of open banking, banking API was integrated into the E-PUL mobile application, which allowed customers to receive the necessary information about their accounts.

“We also implemented the author’s project of individual QR codes and links, allowed the representatives of the service sector to use our system free of charge by accepting payments via a digital wallet through these QR codes and links,” CEO of PaySis company said.

CEO of PaySis company stressed that moreover, the payment system established a partnership with financial technology companies in 2021 thanks to which it is possible to pay for the services in more than 3,000 stores, restaurants and other retail outlets through E-PUL mobile application.

“During this period, we also established the strategic partnership with the Karabakh Revival Fund is accepting non-cash payments,” Nasibov said.
