BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. The number of registered taxpayers in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has increased 2.3 times, Trend reports via State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
As many as 1,441 new taxpayers were registered in Nakhchivan from January through March 2023. Of the total amount, 87.6 percent were individuals, 12.4 percent were legal entities and other organizations.
The number of registered taxpayers increased 2.3 times compared to the same period in 2022, including individuals - 2 times, and legal entities - 36 times.
Some 40 percent of commercial organizations were registered electronically, while 60 percent - based on written requests.
