Azerbaijan, Agstafa / Trend corr N. Fatullayeva / A no waste vitamin rich forage producing plant is being constructed in Azerbaijan's Agstafa region, the head of Agstafa Region Executive Power, Jumshud Musayev, said.
"The plant will produce forage and different fractional spirits for poultry and cattle-breeding," Musayev said.
A plot of land of around 22,000 hectares is required for providing the plant with grain, beet and other agricultural products. AZN 8mln, of which AZN 5.5mln has already been spent, was allocated for construction of the plant.
According to him, the plant will have up to date equipment and will assist Agstafa farmers in receiving agricultural technique, seeds and fertilizers.
The construction of the plant will be completed at the end of 2008. According to Musayev, 420 people are expected to receive jobs in the completely automated establishment.
