Premiums of Turkish-Azerbaijani Insurance Company Exceed AZN 2mln

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U. Ismayilova / From January to September, premiums of the Turkish-Azerbaijani insurance company Basak-Inam made up AZN 2.3mln amid claims costing approximately AZN 1.031mln, the company said on 18 October.

The highest figure on claims was AZN 742,300 and fell on KАСKО company.

A rise in claims compared to the same period of 2006 came only to 28.4%, instead of last year when the rise in claims was 47.3%.

In January to September 2006 the company's claims made up AZN 1.8mln with claims of approximately AZN 700,000.

The company's claims on obligatory types of insurance made up AZN 16,678 with payment of AZN 9,320. A rise in obligatory types of insurance was 45.1% compared to 2006 and a rise in claims by 2.1%.

The joint insurance company Basak-Inam, active since 1996, renders thirty-two types of insurance services. The statutory capital of the company is AZN 800,000.
