Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Kghalilova / The demand in finance resources from the agrarian sector of Azerbaijan is assessed at $1.2 to 1.3bln, Razim Valiyev, the Director General of the State Agency on Agricultural Loans at the Azerbaijani Agricultural Ministry, said on 27 November.
According to Valiyev, the assessment was held by the Government with the support of the World Bank.
State support is added to funds for development of the agrarian sector from international financial organizations. Currently projects are implemented in the amount of $35mln.
Since the beginning of the year the State budget allocated some AZN 5mln for the development of the agricultural sector.
