Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 May / corr. Trend U. Ismayilova/ The proposals to add new items to the Bill on Obligatory Insurance will be discussed in the meeting of the Association of Insurers of Azerbaijan on 6 May, Gafar Majidov, the executive director of the Association said.
"Representatives of the insurance companies and state insurance control will participate in the meeting," Majidov said.
At present, there are several bills on the obligatory insurance in Azerbaijan The State Insurance Control offers Azerbaijani parliament to unite all the bills into one - Bill on Obligatory Insurance.
According to Majidiv, a set of proposals to add new items to the Bill will be developed and submitted to the State Insurance Control who, in turn, will submit it to the Azerbaijani parliament.
The Association of Insurance Companies of Azerbaijan was established on 29 December 2006. The Supervisory Board of the company includes MBASK, Standard Insurance, International Insurance Company, Azersigorta and Ateshgah.
The chairman of the Supervisory Board is Kamal Ibrahimov, the director-general of Standard Insurance, and his deputy is Jamil Malikov, chairman of Board of Directors of MBASK.
