Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 29 / Trend , U.Ismayilova / Xalq Sigorta CJSC Azerbaijani insurance company changed the form of property for open joint stock company.
The change took place by the law on insurance activity, which came into force on March 15, 2008.
Founders of Xalq Sigorta are several juridical entities. Company was set up in 2005 and now has branches in Sumgayit and Ganja Cities.
The authorized capital of Xalq Sigorta is AZN 14.8mln. Company's premiums for Jan-Sept made up AZN 15.73mln with payments of AZN 4.5mln.
On Dec. 29, the official exchange rate is 0.8005 AZN/USD.
