The Azerbaijani Health Ministry did almost 500 tests under laboratory conditions in line with the prevention of Swine flue (АH1N1), the ministry said on July 29.
The analysis was negative to the virus, the ministry said.
Swine flue in Azerbaijan is prevented on the basis of joint work on State Coordination Committee on prevention of Swine flue in Azerbaijan under the National plan on preparations against pandemic flu.
The main symptoms of A (H1N1) includes fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent cough runny nose or stuffy nose sore throat body aches headache chills fatigue or tiredness, which can be extreme diarrhea and vomiting, sometimes, but more commonly seen than with seasonal flu, signs of a more serious swine flu infection might include pneumonia and respiratory failure.
