The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development revealed 512 kilograms of expired food, the ministry said.
Expired confectionery, sausages, butter, milk and dairy products, cereals, canned foods, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, baby food, flour products were destroyed.
These violations of consumer rights were identified during monitoring conducted in Yasamal, Hazar, Sabail, Nasimi and Narimanov districts of Baku, as well as Kurdamir, Balakan, Guba, Ganja and Lankaran regions.
