Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 5 / Trend /

The German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) has been implementing a management training project since July 2010. The project will run until June 2011. The project is implemented under a Private Sector Development Program on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The project aims to create infrastructure for conducting courses to improve the skills of senior employees and management staff of the private sector and state agencies, GTZ said.

The program is supported by the Baku Business Training Center linked to the Ministry of Economic Development and the Azerbaijani National Confederation of Entrepreneurs.

Selected national trainers have been trained on project management within the first phase of the project at the Baku Business Training Center from Nov. 1-3.

14 trainers received their training by highly qualified international experts. From now on, these national experts will implement project management trainings to enhance skills of businessmen and public sector representatives in Azerbaijan.

Three-day workshops on project management will be held within the next phase from Nov. 11 until Dec. 11. About 200 specialists and managers will have the chance to receive trainings, based on up to date international contents and methodologies. There are still a few places available (for free). Interested companies can contact the Hifab / GTZ office, subcomponent Management Training, via the following number: 598 1036.
