The total amount of production in the livestock sector increased by 7.1 percent in January-November 2010 compared to the same period last year in Azerbaijan. The total agricultural production as a whole dropped by 2.7 percent on an annual basis, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan said.
In January-November, Azerbaijan produced 303,200 tons of meat of livestock and poultry, 1400.9 thousand tons of milk, 1081.8 million eggs, and 15,300 tons of wool.
Compared to the same period in 2009, meat production grew by 8.7 percent, milk by 7.1 percent, wool by 3 percent, and eggs by 0.1 percent
