Over 12.2 million tons of cereals and legumes after processing were collected in 2010, the Kazakh state statistics committee said.
"Over 9.1 percent of total grain fall to the wheat," a message said.
Grain was mainly grown in North Kazakhstan (30.6 percent), Kostanai (24.9 percent) and Akmola (17.6 percent) regions.
"About two-thirds of all grain and legume crops were grown and collected by agricultural enterprises. More than a half of the harvest of oil seeds was collected by peasants (farmers), nearly three-quarters of the potato harvest - households", a message said.
