The Majlis (Lower House)of the Kazakh Parliament has agreed with the amendments of the Senate (Upper House) to the draft law "On Republican Budget for 2012-2014", the Novosti-Kazakhstan news agency reported.
Based on the regulations of the Parliament, the law is passed and submitted to the President for signing.
Speaking at the parliament, Secretary of the Finance and Budget Committee of Majlis Sansyzbay Yesil proposed to accept the changes and amendments to the law.
During the discussion of the document, the Senate amended the paragraphs primarily relating to the development of water supply systems, education, health care, subsidies for passenger services and the Balapan program.
Earlier, Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev stated that the country's expenditures for a three-year period for social security and social assistance are expected at 4. 38 trillion tenge, including 1.209 trillion - in 2012, 1.349 trillion - in 2013 and 1.479 trillion - 2014 Most of these funds will be spent on the social benefits- 3.737 trillion tenge.
