Georgia’s investment environment presented in Cyprus

Georgia's interesting investment environment was presented in Cyprus, Georgian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday. The event was held with the support of the Georgian Embassy in Cyprus.

According to the Georgian National Investment Agency's Chairman Ketevan Bochorishvili, who addressed the event, the Georgian delegation were able to talk to Cypriot businessmen about the investment environment in Georgia, as well as its success.

"Tourism was one of the main topics. Businessmen are particularly interested in investing mainly in the tourism area," Mr Bochorishvili said.

According to the Georgian Ambassador to Cyprus Vladimir Konstantinidi, the event made special emphasis on the tourism infrastructure and free tourist zones.

"I suppose that the Cypriot businessmen are interested in these proposals. We plan to hold similar events also next year, but in Georgia," Mr Konstantinidi said.
