Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were leading countries for the growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2011, Kazakh Statistics Agency said on Thursday.

Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were leading countries for the growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2011, Kazakh Statistics Agency said on Thursday.

"In 2011 the GDP volume in Turkmenistan hit 114.7 percent compared to GDP in 2010, Uzbekistan - 108.3 percent, in Kazakhstan - 107.5 percent. The GDP growth in Russia hit 104.3 percent compared to GDP in 2010," the report says.

On average this figure hit 104.7 percent on the CIS.
