U.S. insurance broker increases its assets by 12.33 percent in Azerbaijan

Assets of Marş Sığorta və Təkrarsığorta Brokeri (Azerbaijani representation of the American insurance broker Marsh) increased by 12.33 per cent in 2011 and amoounted to 8.559 million manat by the end of the year.

It is stated in the balance sheet of the company, published in the official press on Tuesday. An audit of the company for the last year was carried out by LLC Deloitte & Touche.

Long-term assets of the company increased by 2.23 times last year to 301 manat, short term - by 10.34 percent to 8.258 million manat.

Some 4.037 million manat accounts for trade and other receivables and 4.095 million manat - for cash in the structure of short-term assets.

Aggregate capital of the company in the period under review increased by 64.19 percent and amounted to 1.192 million manat by the end of the year, the share capital did not change in 2011, remaining at 10,000 manat.

Retained profit for 2011 amounted to 1.182 million manat, increasing by 65.12 percent compared to 2010.
