The Tajik government jointly with the Eurasian Development Bank consider the issue of financing the Nurek hydropower plant reconstruction project, Avesta.tj reported.
This issue was discussed by the bank's representative and the country's finance Minister Safarali Nizhmiddinov in Tokio this week.
The bank's representative stressed that the organization is committed to wide-range of work in Tajikistan and expect the support of country's government for this.
The bank examines the projects on irrigation system reconstruction in the country.
