The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus plans to make direct flights to Baku, the Kibris Postasi newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The governments of Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus have held negotiations on this issue and will soon sign an agreement to open flights.
Flights will be carried out by the private Turkish airline.
The newspaper also reports that Northern Cyprus has already arranged direct flights with Iranian capital of Tehran.
