Kazakhstan's current account surplus falls by 1.6 times in 2012

Kazakhstan' current account surplus from balance of payments decreased to $8.770 billion in 2012 compared to $13.6 billion in 2011, the Kazakh National Bank said.
The trade balance decreased from $47.925 billion in 2011 to $45.156 billion in the reporting period.
The balance of services had a deficit of $ 7.719 billion compared to $6.412 billion deficit in 2011.
Kazakhstan's capital and financial operation account deficit hit 11.527 billion in 2012 compared to 13.301 billion in 2011.
