Atyrau pipe fittings plant in Kazakhstan announces its production plans

Atyrau pipe fittings plant of the Chevron Munaigas Inc. will produce up to 30,000 pieces of metal plastic pipes a year, press service of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan told Trend on Dec. 23.

"In physical terms the power of the enterprise stands at 30,000 pieces of metal plastic pipes in a year, in terms of money - at $25 million a year," the ministry said.

Atyrau pipeline fittings plant was established in 2013. It produces metal plastic pipes (multilayer, polyethylene and heat-resistant pipes) and a wide range of parts for assembly of pipes. Products are used for the transportation of liquids in industry, utilities, marine, mining and agriculture.

The project costs $ 40 million.
