The volume of money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia dropped by 21.5 percent in June 2015 compared to the same period of 2014.
The volume of transfers from Azerbaijan to this country neared $1.188 billion in June 2015, compared to around $1.513 billion in the same month of 2014, the message from Georgia's National Bank said.
Azerbaijan accounted for 1.18 percent of the total volume of money transfers to Georgia.
The country has ranked 12th for the volume of money transfers to Georgia. Russia became a leader by transferring $41.64 million (41.45 percent) to Georgia.
Greece has ranked second with $13.79 million (13.7 percent), Italy - $ 8.7 million (8.6 percent), the US - 8.58 million (8.54 percent) and Turkey - 6.7 million (6.7 percent).
In total, the volume of money transfers to Georgia in June exceeded $100.448 billion.
Money transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan exceeded $534,100, or 3.7 percent of the total volume of money transfers, said the message.
The largest amount of money transfers from Georgia accounted for Russia - $6.48 million (45.14 percent), followed by Ukraine - $1.6 million (11.1 percent), Greece - $1.2 million (8.4 percent), Turkey - $511,500 (3.56 percent).
In total, $14.349 million was transferred from Georgia to various countries as of June 2015.
