Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced that it will hold a tender on restoring 50 museums on Oct. 24, the ministry told Trend Oct. 3.
According to the ministry, winners of the tender will also be granted the right to commercial use of museums until 2023.
In late 2016, 417 museums operated in Turkey, said the ministry.
There are 193 museums on the balance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the remaining 224 are private museums.
