Rattan, Azerbaijani manufacturer of wicker country furniture, intends to expand the export geography, the company’s director Nusrat Abdullayev told Trend May 23.
He said that all wicker country furniture of the company is hand-made.
“By the end of this year, we plan to establish the supply of furniture to Belarus and Kazakhstan,” he noted. “We have received proposals related to exports, so we will increase the coverage of our supplies.”
He said that the main buyer of the company’s products is Russia.
“In this market there is a great demand for our products, so we have a good customer base in Russia, and, accordingly, stable supplies,” he noted.
He added that the company produces high-quality and stylish furniture made of artificial rattan.
The director noted that the company is the only one in Azerbaijan that has assembled a professional team of modern furniture designers.
