Representatives of the Kamchatka Territory of Russia expressed interest in organizing direct deliveries of fresh Uzbek fruits and vegetables, Trend reports citing the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
The delegation of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok (Russia) visited the Kamchatka Territory, which is part of the Far Eastern Federal District, on August 13-15, 2019.
Within the framework of the trip, bilateral meetings were held with Deputy Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Alexander Voitov, Head of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka Urban District Vitaly Ivanenko, entrepreneurs and tour operators, as well as heads of various structures.
Moreover, a presentation was made of the potential for developing cooperation with Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations, issues of enhancing interaction in the trade, economic, tourism, cultural and humanitarian, consular and legal fields were discussed.
In addition, the Russian side expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Agency on issues of external labor migration of Uzbekistan in attracting labor resources.
