Prices of some petroleum products increase in Kazakhstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3

Prices of Kazakhstan’s industrial manufacturers decreased by 0.1 percent as of the end of Feb. 2020 compared to Dec. 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Decrease of prices was observed in mining industry by 0.4 percent, and by 0.2 percent in processing industry.

Industrial production prices decreased by 0.3 percent during the reporting period, whereas services of industrial character increased in price by 2.1 percent.

Thus, the price of industrial manufacturers for oil and natural gas decreased by 1 percent, of petrol by 0.6 percent.

In turn, prices of metal ores increased by 5.5 percent, of propane and butane by 2.3 percent, coal by 1.4 percent, diesel fuel by 0.9 percent, fuel oil by 0.8 percent.

Prices of zinc decreased by 5.9 percent, of ferrous metals rolling by 4.9 percent, of lead by 3.8 percent, of aluminum by 1.1 percent.

Increase of prices was observed on precious metals by 1.4 percent, cooper by 1.1 percent.

Decrease of prices has also been observed on rice and fish by 1.6 percent each, wheat flour by 1.1 percent, of poultry meat by 0.6 percent.

In turn, increase of prices was observed on cereals by 3.3 percent, rye flour by 3.1 percent, cattle meat by 1.7 percent, milk products by 1.3 percent, vegetable oil by 1.2 percent, noodles and bread by 0.5 percent each, sugar by 0.4 percent.
