The quality standard certificate of products, goods and equipment in the oil industry will be granted within a period of 90 days by the Iran Petroleum Industry Certification Body of the Iranian Oil Association, the head of association said.
"Based on the review of documents and verifications, the general process for issuing a certificate takes 90 days; to date, nine out of ten commodity groups of equipment manufactured in the oil industry have been certified," Mohammad Iravani said, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
He also announced the launch of an automation system to increase effectiveness of the procedure.
"This system is designed to ensure the issuing of the certificates in a short period of time," the head of the association said
"Currently, we are ready to issue 45 quality certifications for four groups of goods in the oil industry, and other groups will be added next year," he added.
