TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 23,013points, at the beginning of Saturday, December 12th.
The total index of TEDPIX increased reached 1.529 million points on Saturday, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
The indices of National Iranian Copper Industries Co., Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Cooperatives Union of Petrochemical Downstream Industry Co., Telecommunication Company of Iran, Ghadir Investment Company, Mining and Metals Development Investment Company, and the Parsian Bank Investment Co., were the most widely followed indices.
TEDPIX, which had been experiencing a surprisingly rising trend since the last days of the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 19), hit the record high of two million points on August 2, but then it began to drop, coming down to 1.2 million points.
After a period of correction, the index has been recently climbing.
