Iran is ready to offer its experiences and knowledge on water, soil, and natural resources to Kazakhstan, said the head of Iran Forest, Range and Watershed Management Organization Masoud Mansour, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Iran has experience in desertification and has transformed 1.5 million hectares of drylands and deserts to forests and can transfer its experiences to Kazakhstan in form of bilateral cooperation," he said during a meeting with Kazakhstan Deputy Minister of Ecology, Geology, and Natural Resources.
Kazakhstan needs Iran's cooperation to prevent the Aral Sea from being dried up and help forestry. The Kazakh official has indicated that Kazakh experts agreed to use the technical services of Iranian contractors to train and transfer their knowledge.
