BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 438,691 kg over the period from January through May 2022, which is 0.1 percent more than during the same period of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 89,181 kg in May 2022, which is 0.8 percent less than in May 2021.
Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 14.4 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 49,654 kg (10,990 kg in May 2022, an increase of 16.8 percent compared to May 2021).
Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 699,287 tons during the reporting period, which indicates an increase of 5.3 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 148,379 tons in May 2022, which corresponds to the level in May 2021.
Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 46,717 tons over the reporting period, which is 4.8 percent less than during the same period of 2021. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in May 2022 was 9,037 tons, which is 7.9 percent less than in May 2021.
Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 122,157 tons, which is 5.4 percent less than during the same period of 2021 (22,797 tons in May 2022, down by 8.5 percent compared to May 2021).
As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 210,398 tons, which is 1.3 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (45,736 tons in May 2022, which is 4.9 percent more than in May 2021).
Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 16,922 tons, which is 21.8 percent more than during the same period of 2021 (3,044 tons in May 2022, down by 16.5 percent compared to May 2021).
