Over the period of January to October 2006, the Gross Domestic Product of Azerbaijan had increased by 34.3% as compared to last year.
According to the State Statistics Committee, as of November 1, the index of GDP made up 14,761.8mln manats, Trend reports. The volume of GDP per a capita had increased on 33.6%, and made up 1,766,6 AZN ($1967.9) per capita.
The share of production in GDP of the country had increased by 45.2% and made up 69.4% (10,241mln manats). In the sphere of services the extra cost has increased by 25.8% as compared to the last year. The special weight of GDP decreased from 28.5% to 24%.
The net taxes from production and the import make up 6.6% of the GDP. Over this period the industrial output made up 55.9% (8,396,5mln manats) of the total GDP, the agriculture, hunting sector, and forestry had produced extra cost at the rate of 751.5mln manats (5.1%), the construction sector 1,093mln manats (7.4%), the transportation sector 980.8mln manats (6.6%), the telecommunication sector 296.1mln manats (2.1%), the wholesale and retail trade, the car sphere, and the personal services 892.4mln manats (6%), the restaurant and hotel sphere 108.7mln manats (0.7%), the rendering of social and other services - 1,255,1mln manats (8.6%).
