(autoinsidernews) - The first Ford Shelby GT will roll out of Shebly Automobiles center in Las Vegas and mark the start of production for the third model Shelby Mustang family. The GT follows the Hertz rental-fleet-only Shelby GT-H and the Ford Shelby GT500. The Shelby GT is the retail version of the Hertz GT-H, reports Trend.
The first production Shelby GT, CSM No. 07SGT0001 will go over the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Collector Car Event on Saturday, January 20th. Just like the first GT500, which sold for $600,000 in January 2006, all proceeds will go to the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation.
