A Memorandum on mutual understanding was signed by the Azerenergy company of Azerbaijan, the State Power System of Georgia and the Power Energy Transmission Corporation of Turkey within the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey energy bridge project.
The joint Power Bridge project, which is implemented by Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, is financed by the USAID.
The USAID and U.S. Energy Association implement financial and technical assistance.
Together with the Azerenergy company of Azerbaijan, the State Power System of Georgia and the Power Energy Transmission Corporation of Turkey they develop a regional model of high tension network.
The Working Group analyses the work of high-voltage networks in all three countries and will carry out the identification of investment in terms of regional prospects, which will help improve the capacity of the network and the exchange and sale of electricity. This will improve security of the entire system.
