The Caspian Geophysical company is handling of seismic data in the framework of the project on development of block of sea oil and gas fields Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea, Elman Huseynov, manager on sale of seismic data, said.
"We are handling seismic data for BP on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field," Huseynov added.
Huseynov did not concretize the area which the company will handle.
The company offers service for 3D seismic survey, as well as the company has a processing center, which is one of the largest in the region where two, three and four dimensional seismic data are handled.
Currently, the interest in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea is increasing and there are opportunities to participate in tenders for 3D and 4D seismic, Huseynov said.
The company operates in the region since 1994 and offering services in Azerbaijan, as well as in Turkmen, Kazakh and Russian sections of the Caspian Sea.
