The Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri and France’s Energy Minister Jean-Louis Borloo signed a joint declaration of intent. The document is aimed at deepening economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri and France's Energy Minister Jean-Louis Borloo signed a joint declaration of intent.
The document is aimed at deepening economic cooperation between the two countries.

After the signing ceremony Alexander Khetaguri told journalists that the declaration envisages cooperation in such spheres as energy, tourism and other sectors of economy.

"It is envisaged mainly to exchange experiences and create conditions to attract the French capital in Georgia" the Minister said.

Signing the document was held within the Georgian delegation's official visit to France under the leadership of President Mikheil Saakashvili.
