Over 70mn barrels of oil exported from Sangachal terminal in Jan.-March

During the first quarter of this year, the Sangachal terminal exported about 71 million barrels of oil, BP's official report on the company's activity in Azerbaijan in Jan.-March said today.

This included about 61 million barrels through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), over eight million barrels through the Western Route Export Pipeline (WREP), about 1.4 million barrels by rail and about 0.5 million barrels via a condensate export line.

On average about 27 million standard cubic metres of Shah Deniz gas was exported from the terminal daily in the first quarter of 2013.

The daily capacity of the terminal's processing systems is currently 1.2 million barrels of oil and 966 million standard cubic feet, or 27.4 million standard cubic metres of Shah Deniz gas. This is while overall processing and export capacity for gas, including ACG associated gas is about 41.5 million standard cubic metres per day.
