SOCAR's Romania budget is planned to hit 50 million euros in 2013, SOCAR's Romanian representative office said today.

According to the report, SOCAR plans to open filling stations in key centers of Romania by late 2013.

"The investment plan, the number of stations and the rate of growth in 2013 depend on the growth dynamics of Romania's fuel market and bureaucratic processes," the report says.

The number of SOCAR's petrol stations in Romania is currently 16.

SOCAR is the only producer of oil products in the country (it has two refineries on its balance sheet), and owns petrol stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland. SOCAR is the co-owner of the largest Turkish petrochemical complex Petkim.
