Turkmenistan, Belarus expand cooperation in field of energy

The delegation of the Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) "Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after V.I. Kozlov" will hold a number of business meetings and negotiations in Ashgabat, which will contribute to the further expansion of cooperation between Belarus and Turkmenistan in the field of energy, the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan said in a statement.

This plant takes part in the international exhibition entitled as "The main trends of development of the energy industry of Turkmenistan", which has opened recently in the Turkmen capital.

In the course of the exhibition, the Deputy Prime Minister Dadebai Amangeldyev and Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan Charymyrat Purchekov have highly appraised the Belarusian electro-technical products. OJSC "Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after V. I. Kozlov" is one of the world leaders in the production of a wide range of electro-technical equipment.

The plant’s products are used in the countries of EAEU, EU, Asia, Africa and Latin America. "The plant has developed close ties with the Turkmen power engineers. The transformers, transformer substations and various electro-technical equipment produced in Belarus have acquired a high reputation in Turkmenistan," the message says.
