Uzbekistan plans to create a national brand of the network of petrol stations UNG, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
“We want to revise the existing concept for gas stations and create our own national brand of gas stations,” the chairman of the board of Uzbekneftegaz, Bakhodir Sidikov said.
This decision was made because gas stations may become the only "contact point" between the end user and Uzbekneftegaz.
A strategy is being developed to create a modern network of petrol stations under the UNG brand.
Moreover, negotiations with foreign partners will allow creating a network of joint ventures.
Recently, Trend reported that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree approving the Concept for the development of the oil and gas industry in the country until 2030, as well as the composition of the working commission on the implementation of this concept headed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
