BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. Iran's South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) resumed production from its 6 gas wells, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2022), an official of the SZOGPC Mohammad Hassan Barzegar said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
According to Barzegar, currently, 2 million cubic meters of gas per day are produced from the mentioned gas wells.
The official also added that a large number of operations were carried out in order to resume production from 6 wells.
The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) is one of three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). The SZOGPC currently has 9 gas fields - Aghar, Dalan, Nar, Kangan, Sarkhoon, Tabnak, Homa, Varavi, Shanol, and 2 oil fields - Saadatabad and Sarvestan under its management.
In total, the company produced 20.9 million cubic meters of gas during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022).
