Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend corr. S. Aliyev / 80% of the total volume of investments of Turkey's TPAO in 2006 arose from different projects implemented in Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting a report by the Turkish Company.
In general, in 2006, TPAO invested about $416 mln abroad and $292 mln was invested in different projects implemented domestically (in Turkey).
According to the expectations and forecast for 2007, the volume of investments for foreign projects is expected to reach $399 mln and $368 mln locally. Notably, in 2003, these indicators equaled $376 mln and $71 mln respectively, in 2004, $524 mln and $147 mln respectively and in 2006 $544 mln and $210 mln respectively.
