Azerbaijan's AFB Bank reduces lending in 2018

The loan portfolio of Azerbaijan's AFB Bank at the end of 4Q2018 amounted to 194.305 million manats, which is almost 10.89 percent less than in 2017, Trend reports referring to the bank.

AFB Bank completed 4Q2018 with a profit of 21.65 million manats, while in 2017 the bank had 12.19 million manats of loss.

In 2018, the bank's interest income reached 33.94 million manats (24.67 million manats in 2017), non-interest income reached 11.32 million manats (11.52 million manats in 2017).

The bank's interest expenses amounted to 2.76 million manats (2.95 million manats in 2017), non-interest expenses to 23.15 million manats (15.42 million manats in 2017).

The total assets of AFB Bank during the period amounted to 417.53 million manats, decreasing by almost 15.6 percent over the year.

In the assets structure, at the end of 2018, 35.56 million manats accounted for cash (44.57 million manats in 2017).

At the end of 4Q2018, the total liabilities of the bank amounted to 329.942 million manats compared to 428.073 million manats in 2017. The largest part of liabilities fell to the deposit portfolio - 201.911 million manats, which decreased by 29.85 percent over the year.

The share capital of AFB Bank is 70.393 million manats and the total capital is 84.937 million manats.
