Foreign citizens spent 379.1 million manat ($223.1 million) in Azerbaijan through bank cards in the past ten months of 2020, which is 2.8 times decrease compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
According to the review, in October this year, foreigners made transactions with bank cards in the amount of 24.9 million manat ($14.6 million), which is 4.2 times less than in the same month of last year.
In 2019, foreign citizens spent 1.257 billion manat ($739.4 million) in Azerbaijan through bank cards, and a year earlier 1.278 billion manat ($750 million).
